Charlie has been involved with high performance computing centers across the country for many years. The computing centers and curricula that Charlie created are still producing outstanding graduates and performing valuable research. Charlie is thankful to have played a part in so many academic success stories.


Frank Timmes – Director

Frank  Timmes joined the ASU Advanced Computing Center (A2C2) as director in Summer 2011. A2C2 is here to provide transformative cybertechnology solutions that empower ASU and its partners to reach their visions. We want to help you advance your research by supplying you with cpu cycles, disk space, bandwidth,  servers-on-demand, and friendly, expert assistance in getting your application running on ASU’s research computing platforms. You do not need to be a computing expert to utilize our resources – we can help you get started by providing personalized training. We operate the largest computing platform  in the state of Arizona. Jennifer Testamarck – Student Designer

Jennifer is a graduate student in Visual Communication Design at ASU. She joined A2C2 in 2013 as the Information Designer for Communications and Outreach. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Design Management at ASU in 2008. She has four years of experience in marketing for various design firms and is continuing her education full-time to become a Graphic Designer.  Jennifer’s interests include digital publishing, web design, poster design and other print materials, and branding. In her free time, she likes to run and will be training for her 2nd half marathon this year. She has a husband who also works at ASU in the ASU Information Department. They have two cats and two German Shepherd/Australian Shepard mix puppies to fill their small 1950s home, right down the street from campus.


Lee Reynolds – Technical Support Analyst, Sr.

Lee Reynolds is an IT professional with over 20 years of experience. He began working with Linux in 1995 and has worked at ASU since April 2000, spending most of that time as a system administrator for Linux systems in the Fulton Schools of Engineering. He joined A2C2 in March of 2010 and during that time has been lead on the development of an updated operating system image for A2C2’s compute nodes and has introduced several refinements to the system as a whole.


Manish Sinha – Applications and Web Developer

Manish is a graduate student in Computer Science at ASU’s Tempe campus and joined in 2012. He received a BE at Manipal University, India and has three years of work experience before joining A2C2 as a student applications and web developer. His interests include Application Development, Web Development and Open Source. In his free time, he enjoys music, having fun, trying various cuisines and visiting places of historic interest.


Marisa Brazil – Senior Coordinator, Projects and Programs

Marisa Brazil joined ASU and A2C2 in April 2008 and serves as Senior Coordinator of Projects and Programs. She received a B.A. in International Relations from American University and her M.A. in Nonprofit Leadership and Management at ASU in Fall 2011. Currently, Marisa manages A2C2′s communications and outreach efforts, special events and programs, and supports A2C2′s HR, business and finance, and research administration needs.


Monica Kenguva – Student System Administration Assistant

Monica is a graduate student in Computer Engineering at ASU and completed her under graduate work at JNTU, India. Monica joined A2C2 as an operations student administration assistant in Fall 2012. She is interested in Linux development, architecture level concepts, and real time embedded systems, etc. and is actively working towards the development of skills required in system administration. She loves to travel, try different cuisines and has a passion for Indian classical dance and is very glad to be part of the A2C2 team.


Shriganth Sundararaj – Student Web Developer

Shriganth is a graduate student in Computer Science at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at ASU. He is a Redhat Certified Engineer and completed his undergraduate work at Coimbatore Institute Technology, India.  Shriganth has three years of industrial experience in web and application development. His interests include Android App development, web development and Linux.
