Connect to Saguaro

If you are using a Mac or Linux box, then you already have everything you need to connect to Saguaro. If you are using Windows, then you will have to download an SSH client such as Putty, or SSH from ASU’s MyApps.

On a Mac or Linux, open a terminal window (Spotlight -> Terminal.app) and type

ssh username@saguaro.fulton.asu.edu

Then you should see something like the following

Welcome  to the ASU    ,---.,---.,---..   .,---.,---.,---.
Advanced  Computing    `---.,---||   ||   |,---||    |   |
Center Saguaro System   `---'`---^`---|`---'`---^`    `---'
                                  `---'

saguaro3:~/ >

That’s all there is to it. You are now connected to Saguaro.
